Job Description

The role of the Banking Specialist is to establish new and increase existing customer account relationships through sales and referrals of retail, commercial, mortgage, investments, and other line of business products and services. The Banking Specialist serves as a proactive member of the retail branch team by being an initial sales and service contact for new and existing clients. The Banking Specialist manages existing clients and book of business to support the retention and growth of profitable client relationships through sales of deposit, loan, and investment products.
Responsibilities and Duties:


  • Performing intermediate duties and support related to branch operational activities and financial services

  • Processing all new account transactions

  • Assisting customers in their selection of various accounts and financial services

  • Cross-selling bank products and services

  • Opening, maintaining and closing of all account types

  • Performing branch clerical duties

  • Promoting business for bank by maintaining good customer relations and referring customers to appropriate staff for new services

Job Requirements

Qualifications and Skills:


  • High school education or equivalent

  • 2+ years of banking experience

  • MUST be able to pass Background Check & Credit Check!
